The first four telescopes are in four separate domes and are used for scientific project observations. İST60 (Istanbul University Telescope) was placed on the T30b dome at the beginning of 2011, and the T30b telescope was installed in the Department of Space Sciences and Technologies in the ÇOMÜ Faculty of Arts and Sciences building to be used mostly in educational applications. The other small telescopes on the list are portable and are used for educational purposes, amateur and public day event observations.

The Apogee Alta U42 and U47, SBIG STL-1001E and SBIG ST 10XME cameras and filter sets given above are used with four large telescopes (T122, T40, T30a and T30b) in scientific and educational project observations.

It was purchased from TÜBİTAK- TBAG project budget no. 108T714 for the T30a telescope.

2- Ava Astrovid Stellaca EX CDD camera

It was purchased from ÇOMÜ BAP project budgets and is used for educational purposes in amateur activities and public days.

3- GPS Garmin e-map

It was purchased from ÇOMÜ BAP project budgets and is used to make time correction at the beginning of the observation.

4- GPS Garmin 18 PC USB

It was purchased from TÜBİTAK-TBAG project budget no. 105T083 and is used to make time correction simultaneously with the satellite during observation.

5- 2 Davis brand Meteorology Stations

It was purchased by ÇAAM with the budget of 2009 and is installed next to the T40 building. It is installed in the IST60 control building belonging to IU. The weather conditions data of both stations are published on the observatories' websites.
